In the beginning…

Καλημέρα Readers,

When I started working here at this company (the 8 hour a day sitting job remember) I started to notice
 just how much I was sitting. My work day starts at 7 am and finishes at 3 pm, but the sitting didn't stop
 there..I'd get home, prepare a snack and sit until bed time at about 10 pm. So if we calculate that's a
 total of 13 hours of sitting. That is TOO much. It started to bother me, I thought beyond the fact that
 I might get fat(er), it wasn't good, as there are articles on the web saying its worse than smoking and 
can have very negative long term effects.

The above pic is me on the beach not so long ago, I don't resent my body or have serious body issues. 
The decision to exercise goes beyond what I look like, and into how I feel and what I want to feel. I 
want to feel fit and strong, I want to look like I have muscle and be toned. But above all I don't want 
the negative effects of sitting all day everyday..

Recently, well at the start of 2015, I took a job as an Intern at a company. This job required a lot of sitting (8 hours a day). Of course in this day and age, its not about what you know but who you know, and I got the position through a friend of mine who was already working at the company. She happens to be a fitness freak. This is the journey of me and Tam, with some personal snipets!
